Our story
Stronghold was founded by Sean Hanlon and Lee Hurst in the fall of 2008. Starting with just a few songs, they continued onward with modern rock cover songs that most people have heard and like. In 2009 an ad was ran for a drummer and bass player on Craigs List. After trying out several players, Patrick McCoy on drums, and Steve Smullen on bass guitar joined. Now with music that spans from the 90s to present, they cover bands such as 3 Doors Down, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Nickelback and more.
Strongholds intention is to entertain the crowd with pleasing vocals, great guitar tones and solid drums. They hope that when the show comes to an end, the listener will have had a great time and say That was fun!.
